At the heart of it is our commitment to halal Turkish food, cooked fresh every day rather than prepared in advance. It’s a simple idea, but we take it seriously at both locations.

Our Turkish & Mediterranean Cuisine

Guests come back for the Lahmajoun (Turkish flatbread topped with seasoned minced meat, onions, and peppers), crispy falafel, and our mixed appetizer platter with hummus, tabbouleh, ezme, and baba ganoush. Pair any meal with our kebabs, lamb kofta, or the mixed grill with rice and salad, and don’t skip the homemade bread.

Meet the Founder

Faisal Farooq founded Istanbul Grill with a simple vision: to bring real halal Turkish cuisine to Orlando. That vision opened its doors in 2018, as the first Istanbul Grill location on South Orange Blossom Trail.

Orlando took to Istanbul Grill right away, and guests kept coming back for more. That support led us to open a second location in Celebration/Kissimmee in 2024, bringing the same food and the same standards to more of Central Florida.

Istanbul Grill serves 100% authentic Zabiha Halal-certified menu items at both locations. We cook fresh every day using the purest ingredients we can source, because halal and quality go hand in hand at our restaurant.
